“Hello? Weather Center? This is Commander Nelson, out on Obesk Range.”

“How can we help you, Commander?”

“We just had a freak tornado. Far as I can tell, no damage was done, but it was kind of random; we’ve had clear skies all morning, and do again now. We got the bulletin yesterday, requesting we report any abnormal weather, and I thought this fit.”

“Alright, I’m going to transfer you to the team who posted the bulletin, sir. One moment please.”

“Commander Nelson, are you still there sir?”

“Yes.”

“What can you tell us about this tornado of yours?”

“It formed about twenty minutes ago out of the blue. Literally out of the blue, we’ve had nothing but a few puffy clouds all day, and this leapt out of the sky. It only lasted about five minutes, and was centered over open range, so there were no casualties and no damage.”

“Alright, this sounds like the sort of thing we’re seeing spouting up across the Islands in the past couple days. What are your co-ordinates sir?”

“Uh, co-ordinates.”

“Hmm, we’re seeing a bright spot, can we pinpoint that? That’s odd…”

“What is it?”

“Huh? Oh, sorry Commander, one second. Okay, there. Overlay 5th filter and enhance? What on earth… Oh, right, damn! Alright, clear screen, and scratch it off the list. Commander? You still with us?”

“Yes…”

“Sorry about that sir. Your storm wasn’t, uh, random. Were you aware you have a weather in town?”

“What? No.”

“Mhm, uh, Captain Luke Westerly.”

“And he created that thing?”

“Ah, yes.”

“He can do that?”

“Yes.”

“What ship is he on?”

“Says here he just took command of Roc class Haast two days ago.”

“And Haast landed here this morning. God damnit! What the hell did he think he was doing!?”

“Sir?”

“…Sir?”
