“Any news on Jase yet, Gary?”

“No, nothing.”

“Do they know why he hasn’t woken up yet? I thought the head wound was fairly minor.”

“Apparently not so much. ‘Sides, he took quite the beating, sir. Doctors said only reason he’s in this good of condition is because he’s life.”

“He can only continue to get better, Gary. They won’t let anything happen to one of their own.”

“Yeah, I guess… Sir, do you know when the execution will be?”

“Not yet, why?”

“I’d like to watch.”
